All players must pay two sets of fees during the year. AFFILIATION FEES (£16) are paid once a year, and cover membership of All England Netball, Netball South West, Wiltshire and the Moonraker League. You cannot train or play matches unless you are affiliated. MEMBERSHIP FEES pay for training facilities, coaching and equipment. Fees vary according to which team you are in and should be paid either monthly by standing order (October to May) or in one instalment – cheques made payable to Devizes Netball Club/ online: Devizes Netball Club, sort code 20-05-06, account number 50617377.). The following table shows the amounts per team: Teams 1, 2, 3, 5, 6 Teams 4, 7, 8 (all Jax teams)

Devizes Netball Club - Code of Conduct for Players Attend training regularly and be available for matches. Be prepared to arrive on time for training and matches. Wear appropriate clothing and footwear for training (preferably not match kit), and no jewellery. Make sure nails are short and hair tied back wherever possible. Show enthusiasm and a positive attitude at training. Play in the right spirit of the game. Listen to advice and respond to instructions. Aspire to the highest standard of play you are capable of. Show respect to all coaches, umpires, members of the club and to the opposition. Give advice to less experienced members of the Club Be prepared to assist with training and umpiring during training sessions. Consider attending Coaching and Umpiring courses to assist in further improving the Club status. Team captains to look after club property and ensure teams are equipped correctly. Attend matches in recognised club kit. Do not use mobile phones during training or matches.

Set a good example by recognising fair play and applauding the good performance of all. Discourage arguing with officials. Publicly accept officials’ judgments. Help your child to recognise good performance, not just results. Never punish or belittle a child for losing or making mistakes. Never force your child to take part in sport. Use correct and proper language at all times.
