DIPLOMA IN YOGA EDUCATION NOVEMBER 2015 TO JULY 2016 COURSE STARTS: On Monday, 16th November, 2015. DURATION OF THE COURSE Nine Months: November 2015 to July 2016 followed by 2-Month Internship. After successfully passing the final examinations, for the Diploma to be granted, students have to do internship for TWO Months in the Institute. ADMISSION ELIGIBILITY 

Graduates in any stream or people holding equivalent qualification of a recognized University with minimum of 45% marks.

Note: Non-eligible candidates may participate in the course but will not get the Diploma. They need not appear for the examination and also, the internship after the course is not compulsory for them. FEES Course Fees: Rs. 25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand only). Examination Fees: Rs. 2,000/- (Rupees Two Thousand only). ATTENDANCE 80% Attendance in Theory and Practical classes (including Teaching Assignment) is compulsory during the course. MEDIUM OF INSTRUCTION The medium of instruction will be mainly English. However, examinations can be written in Hindi and Marathi. CRITERIA OF PASSING Minimum of 40% marks in each paper (Practical and Theory) and aggregate 50% marks in total.

NATURE OF THE COURSE Duration: Nine Months (consisting of 2 semesters), followed by a period 2 months of internship Semester I – November 2015 to March 2016 

Theory Session, Discussions, Guest Lectures, Presentations: Every Day from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm (Except Sundays & Holidays)



Shuddhi Kriya Practicals – Every Sunday 7:00 am to 8:30 am (Starts From January 3rd, 2016)



Home Assignments: Home-assignments and Project work on relevant topics will be given from time-to-time and will have to be submitted by the student within a stipulated period

Semester II – April 2016 to July 2015 

5:00 pm to 6:30 pm Session: o April 2016: Practical Session Every Day from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm (Except Sundays & Holidays. o From May 2016 to June 2016: Teaching Assignment: Everyday 2 hours (Except Sundays & Holidays). Students can choose Morning Batch (Time: 6:30 am to 8:30 am) or Evening Batch (4:30 pm to 6:30 pm). All students have to maintain a Teaching Journal to write Five Case Studies and the Journal will be submitted at the end of the course.

Note: The above mentioned time slots of practical sessions & lecture sessions between 5 pm to 8 pm may be interchanged whenever required.

Internship:    

Criterion: Students who have successfully passed the examinations of Semesters I & II. Time Span: From August 1st, 2016 to September 30th, 2016 Schedule: Everyday (Except Sundays & Holidays) for a duration of any 2 hours from 7:00 am to 10:00 am in morning OR from 4:00 am to 7:00 pm in evening Diploma will be granted only to those who have completed the Internship for duration mentioned above.
