1-DAY P ARK PLAN
Disney’s Hollywood Studios With a little more than a handful of rides and many more shows, Disney’s Hollywood Studios® is one of the most challenging parks for us frogs as far as touring goes! The park’s biggest attraction —Toy Story Mania!® Attraction — sees very high wait times throughout the day. It’s other two headline attractions — Rock ‘n Roller Coaster® Starring Aerosmith and The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror — also see significant wait times, but not as high at Toy Story Mania!® Attraction because of their height requirements (and a single rider line at Rock ‘n Roller Coaster® Starring Aerosmith). This is the one park you definitely want to get to before opening and/or absolutely make sure to use FastPass+. Disney typically opens the park 15 minutes before the scheduled opening, although this can vary depending on predicted crowds. We recommend arriving at least 30 minutes before park opening to be one of the first to ride Toy Story Mania!® Attraction, then hop on over to Rock ‘n Roller Coaster® Starring Aerosmith and The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. Most of Disney’s Hollywood Studios®’ other attractions and shows run from 25 to 60 minutes, some with fixed times throughout the day. For the best seats, plan to arrive at least 25 minutes ahead of time. Character greeting locations are spread throughout the park, and FastPass+ is not available for any of them. If characters are a priority, we recommend adding them in to the morning mix after the priority attractions. Make sure to check your Times Guide since character greeting times are staggered. One opportunity your little one may not want to miss is the chance to participate in the Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple, held at fixed times throughout the day. Children ages 4 through 12 get to learn from a Jedi Master and see if they have what it takes to defeat Darth Vader! To get your child into one of the 12 slots per show, you’ll need to sign up outside the ABC Sound Studio immediately at park opening. Like Epcot®, Disney’s Hollywood Studios® has instituted a tier system for its FastPass+ attractions and entertainment. Guests can make one selection from the Tier 1, or headliner attractions, and two selections from Tier 2.

This plan assumes you are starting within the first hour of park opening, taking a break in the afternoon and then returning in the evening. If you do not arrive ahead of park opening, head to Rock ‘n Roller Coaster® Starring Aerosmith and ride Toy Story Mania!® Attraction later using FastPass+. If you arrive ahead of park opening, you’ll get to enjoy Toy Story Mania!® Attraction twice! With more shows at Disney’s Hollywood Studios® than the other Walt Disney World® Resort parks, it is difficult to see them all in one day. We recommend you prioritize those you wish to see and skip those that you do not.
