Donation Guidelines Thrift ‘n’ Thrive gratefully accepts donations of the following items in new or gently used condition: •  Clothing & Accessories •  Collectibles & Antiques •  Electronics

TVs, stereos, DVD players, cell phones, computers

•  Furniture

Dressers, tables, chairs, sofas, bed frames

•  Games & Toys •  Hand Tools & Power Tools •  Home Appliances (small)

•  Home & Office Furnishings

Linens, curtains, blankets, artwork, rugs, lamps

•  Jewelry •  Kitchenware

Dishes, glassware, utensils, cookware, bakeware

•  Media & Entertainment Books, CD, DVDs

•  Shoes •  Sports, Recreation & Exercise Equipment

Irons, vacuum cleaners, coffee makers

Unfortunately, Thrift ‘n’ Thrive cannot accept donations of the following items at this time: •  Items that are unclean, damaged, or having significant wear and tear •  Baby Equipment

Cribs, car seats, strollers

•  Chemical Products •  Home & Industrial Chemical Products •  Mattresses, Box Springs & Pillows

•  Building Materials

•  Medical Supplies & Pharmaceuticals

•  Carpeting

•  Weapons

•  Food

•  Items under recall or that don’t meet current safety standards of the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission

•  Hazardous Waste •  Home Appliances (large)

Ovens, refrigerators, dishwashers

Louisville Rescue Mission will continue to accept donations of food, personal toiletries, cleaning supplies, and winter wear for the homeless. These items should be delivered directly to the Mission at 733 East Jefferson Street.
