Welcome We are nearly at the end of the first half term of 2016 so here’s a quick catch up on news and events from this term.
Car Parking Concerns have been raised about the safety of pupils coming in to school and leaving school because of the parking and congestion in Elwick View and Meadow Road. We have had a small number of minor incidents and urgently need to improve the situation before anything more serious occurs. We are currently liaising with our local police officers to try and find a solution but in the meantime we request that if it is essential that you bring children to school by car, you park with consideration, away from the school gates and walk children to the school entrance. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
Internet Safety In recent weeks we have had several concerns about pupil’s safety on the internet. We are delivering assemblies and lessons in class to ensure pupils are aware of e-safety. Please read our Internet safety Leaflet with your child and ensure you monitor their internet use, including checking their settings on social media sites. Contact school or the police immediately if you have any concerns.
