The Camp: The Future Eagles Fundamental Camp is led by Geneva head coach, Chip Sorber and his football staff. The philosophy of the camp is to give student-athletes entering grades 25 an opportunity to learn the basic movements, skills and fundamentals of the game of football. This camp will focus on individual skills
associated with all the position groups as well as competitive group drills. In addition to the X’s & O’s aspect of

However, you may register on the first day of camp w/o guarantee of a shirt.
Geneva football, campers will be introduced to the coaching staff and basic philosophies of the program. *No Refunds after June 13 What to bring: Each camper should bring appropriate shoes for our turf (Regular athletic shoes, molded rubber or screw-in cleats). Regular athletic shoes are also fine. No metal cleats… Please bring a water jug.
Camp Staff Chip Sorber- (Head Coach)- Coach Sorber is entering his 2nd season as the Eagles head coach and 25th year overall. Coach Sorber was previously the head football coach at Cardinal High School and most recently the offensive coordinator at Chardon High School where he also coached the quarterbacks. Coach Sorber also has served as defensive coordinator at Chardon. Mr. Sorber has also coached varsity football at Madison and Geneva High Schools.
Jay Corlew- Coach Corlew is beginning his 31th year of coaching. He has been a head coach at first Ledgemont High School and Lakeside High School and offers a wealth of coaching experience to our program. Coach Corlew coaches the runningbacks on offense and linebackers on defense.

Bill Lipps- Coach Lipps is entering his 30th year of coaching football. He has served as a head coach, offensive coordinator and a defensive coordinator during his coaching experiences. Coach Lipps will serve as the Eagles Defensive Coordinator/Inside linebackers coach and will assist with the running backs on offense.
Matt Peet- Coach Peet is in his 2nd year on the Eagles varsity staff. He also coaches in the GYFL. Coach Peet will be coaching the quarterbacks/running backs on offense and the defensive backs on defense.
Jay Iaopalo- Coach Iapalo is entering his 2nd year on the varsity staff. He has spent sometime coaching youth football for the Riverside football program. Coach Iapalo will be coaching both the offensive and defensive lineman.
Frank Carraher-- Coach Carraher is also an alumni of the Geneva Football Program. Coach Carraher has been coaching in the middle school the last 5 years and will be coaching our freshman team this season. Coach Carraher will be working with the runningbacks and the defensive backs.
Shane Clugh- Coach Clugh is entering his 2nd season with the Eagles. Coach Clugh is also an alumni of the Geneva Football Program and will be coaching the Split ends and defensive backs. Coach Clugh also coaches our JV Team
