QUICK HITS - In last week’s action, Georgetown (Ky.) defeated Faulkner (Ala.) at home, 35-21, in battle of top 25 teams. - Campbellsville (Ky.) picked up their first win of the season last week with a 48-34 victory over Bluefield (Va.) on the road. - Reinhardt (Ga.) returned to action last week with a 62-7 road win against Pikeville (Ky.). - Bethel (Tenn.) remained undefeated on the season after edging out Kentucky Christian, 35-28, at home. - Lindsey Wilson picked up their fifth-straight win to start the season after beating Cincinnati Christan (Ohio) at home, 84-0. - The lone divisional contest this week was in the Battle of the Brass Lantern between Cumberlands (Ky.) and Union (Ky.). In the home opener for the Bulldogs, they outlasted the Patriots, 49-45. - Rounding out the action last week, Cumberland traveled to NCAA Division II Mississippi College. The Phoenix fell on the road, 27-26. - The West Division now holds a 13-6 record over the East in divisional crossover games, after winning eight of the last nine matchups. - Five teams from the Mid-South Conference were mentioned in the NAIA Football Coaches’ Poll for the second-straight week. - Reinhardt moved back into the top five as they are fifth with 282 points in the poll. - Lindsey Wilson held at No. 7 in the poll with 265 points. - Georgetown moved three spots to No. 11 with 198 total points in the poll. - Bethel moved up inside the top 25 for the first time this season as they are 25th with 53 total points. - Faulkner slipped outside of the top 25 as they are two spots outside of the top 25 with 13 total points.
