Application-Note Setpoint offset Quick Edit scene on EC-Smart-Vue

Introduction This document explains how to adjust a setpoint offset using positive and negative values in an EC-Smart-Vue Quick Edit scene. Example : -5°C/+5°C

Information

1/ Open the ComSensor module and create a Numeric Local Value “SetptOffset” using the following properties:

2/ Create a Global value and name it SetpointHigh with the following properties.

3/ Create a Global value and name it SetpointLow with the following properties.

4/ Create an Edit Scene under Quick Edit with the following properties. In the value Limits, configure the following parameters.

5/ Create 3 “ComSensor Values” blocks and assign the values in the properties as following:

6/ Assign initial values to -5 and 5 of Analog Values SetptLowLimit and SetptHighLimit.

7/ Synchronize the code and make sure to check the “Reinitialize controller/non-controller specific values” option, this will set the initial values of the AVs (SetpointLowLimit and SetpointHighLimit) for 1st time use. The user will now be able to change the setpoint with ±0.1°C increments. To have ±1°C increments, set the Decimals to 0 in the Quick Edit/ Setpoint Edit Scene.
