Employee of the Month September It is with great joy that the Springfield School District announces Kathleen Ferro as Employee of the Month for September 2015. Kathy has been working in the Springfield School District for 27 years.She started as a part time cafeteria/playground aide at Scenic Hills Elementary school – a position she held for 15 years. Since then, Kathy has been a Learning Assistant at E.T. Richardson Middle School, working in the Life Skills Program with students in grades six through eight. Kathy is held in such high regard by students and colleagues alike, who recognize her warmth, kindness, and dedication to her students.
