Peace of Mind Warranty All repairs are covered by a 24 month or 24,000 mile (whichever comes first) limited warranty nationwide. If an item is under an extended warranty such as a transmission or complete engine, it refers to the manufacturers or factory warranty. Should service be necessary under warranty, we must be contacted first. All labor and parts are no charge to our customer during the 24 month or 24,000 mile (whichever comes first) warranty.
If a warranty problem occurs out of a 50-mile rad ius of our shop and the vehicle cannot be returned to us for repairs, we will not extend warranty unless approved in advance by management. Please contact us because we have several networks in place to take care of any warranty problems nationwide. We will not warranty work not performed by us. We cannot pay for warranty work performed at any other location or issue cash refunds for work performed by others unless approved in advance by management. Our warranty does not include liability, but not limited to, for car rental expense, towing, or any other expense due to the loss of use of vehicle. Warranty repair cost not to exceed the cost of the original repair cost.

BRIEF BUSINESS HISTORY Sunset Automotive has offered automotive service in the Lake County area since 1998. It is an independently family-owned and operated auto repair and towing business. The business started with two employees, and it has grown over the years. It now employs over 10 employees among its three locations; one in Waukegan and two in Lake Bluff, Illinois. Terms and Conditions Application for Credit Applicant certifies that the above information, given for the purpose of obtaining credit with Sunset Automotive, Inc. (S.A.I.) is true and correct. By signing this credit application, Applicant authorizes S.A.I. to verify the information Applicant provides. Furthermore, applicant authorizes S.A.I. to provide information on Applicant’s account to others seeking such information. If S.A.I. approves Applicant and extends credit to Applicant, S.A.I. reserves the right to terminate that credit at any time and for any reason. Obligation of Account If S.A.I. approves this credit application and creates a credit account for Applicant, Applicant is not obligated to exclusively service their vehicles at a S.A.I. facility. If S.A.I. creates a credit account for Applicant, Applicant is obligated to make timely payment for all services S.A.I. provides to Applicant. Credit Limit If S.A.I. approves this credit application, S.A.I. will establish an initial credit limit for Applicant’s new account. S.A.I. may change that credit limit at any time. If S.A.I. decides to change the credit limit, S.A.I. may change the credit limit without providing notice to Applicant. Applicant agrees not to exceed its credit limit. If Applicant exceeds its credit limit, Applicant agrees to immediately pay any balance in excess of Applicant’s credit limit. Ever y charge Applicant makes is subject to S.A.I.’s authorization. S.A.I. may decline to grant authorization for any reason and S.A.I. may impose limits on its authorizations. Termination of Account If S.A.I. approves this credit application and creates a credit account for Applicant, either party may terminate the account by providing 30 days’ notice to the other party of intent to terminate the account. Upon termination of the account, all amounts Applicant owes to S.A.I. are due and payable immediately. This clause in no way affects S.A.I.’s ability to change the account’s credit limit, S.A.I.’s ability to terminate the credit S.A.I. extends to Applicant, or S.A.I.’s ability to deny authorization for charges, as described above. Terms of Agreement If S.A.I. approves this credit application and creates a credit account for Applicant, and arbitration or legal proceeding are necessary to enforce or interpret the pro visions of an ensuing agreement and/or this application, then the party that prevails at arbitration or in the legal proceeding shall be entitled to reasonable attorney’s fees and legal costs fro m the other party, in addition to any other relief to which the prevailing party may be entitled. If a court of competent jurisdiction finds unenforceable any term, provision, covenant, or condition of this application and/or an ensuing agreement, then the remaining terms shall remain in full force and effect. If S.A.I. creates a credit account for Applicant, S.A.I. will process bills monthly. Applicant must pay invoice balance within 30 days of the invoice date. Unpaid bills will accrue interest at a rate of 1.5% per month, and interest will be assessed daily. If Applicant fails to pay timely and defaults, Applicant shall be required to pay S.A.I. reasonable attorneys’ fees, court costs, and collection expenses.

Obligation of Account If S.A.I. approves this credit application and creates a credit account for Applicant, Applicant is not obligated to exclusively service their vehicles at a S.A.I. facility. If S.A.I. creates a credit account for Applicant, Applicant is obligated to make timely payment for all services S.A.I. provides to Applicant. Credit Limit If S.A.I. approves this credit application, S.A.I. will establish an initial credit limit for Applicant’s new account. S.A.I. may change that credit limit at any time. If S.A.I. decides to change the credit limit, S.A.I. may change the credit limit without providing notice to Applicant. Applicant agrees not to exceed its credit limit. If Applicant exceeds its credit limit, Applicant agrees to immediately pay any balance in excess of Applicant’s credit limit. Ever y charge Applicant makes is subject to S.A.I.’s authorization. S.A.I. may decline to grant authorization for any reason and S.A.I. may impose limits on its authorizations. Termination of Account If S.A.I. approves this credit application and creates a credit account for Applicant, either party may terminate the account by providing 30 days’ notice to the other party of intent to terminate the account. Upon termination of the account, all amounts Applicant owes to S.A.I. are due and payable immediately. This clause in no way affects S.A.I.’s ability to change the account’s credit limit, S.A.I.’s ability to terminate the credit S.A.I. extends to Applicant, or S.A.I.’s ability to deny authorization for charges, as described above. Terms of Agreement If S.A.I. approves this credit application and creates a credit account for Applicant, and arbitration or legal proceeding are necessary to enforce or interpret the pro visions of an ensuing agreement and/or this application, then the party that prevails at arbitration or in the legal proceeding shall be entitled to reasonable attorney’s fees and legal costs fro m the other party, in addition to any other relief to which the prevailing party may be entitled. If a court of competent jurisdiction finds unenforceable any term, provision, covenant, or condition of this application and/or an ensuing agreement, then the remaining terms shall remain in full force and effect. If S.A.I. creates a credit account for Applicant, S.A.I. will process bills monthly. Applicant must pay invoice balance within 30 days of the invoice date. Unpaid bills will accrue interest at a rate of 1.5% per month, and interest will be assessed daily. If Applicant fails to pay timely and defaults, Applicant shall be required to pay S.A.I. reasonable attorneys’ fees, court costs, and collection expenses.
