Benefits of membership ... Getting to know the Nanook players and the coaches through a series of regularly scheduled events Membership gifts have previously included a combination of pins, pens, membership cards, window decals, magnetic game schedules and signed hockey posters. Each year is different. Nanook hockey continues to get better every year and we look forward to continuing that trend. However, given the current status of the budget at UAF and within the Athletic Department, your continued support is even more important.

New Locker Room ... The Face-Off Club has accomplished more every year to support our Nanooks. Now we are aiming even higher! The team locker rooms at the Carlson Center are the smallest in the league. We have raised a significant amount of money to use as "seed" money for our contribution toward the locker room expansion project. The Alaska Legislature funded $2 million for this project but the Governor vetoed half of that amount. We will continue our efforts to secure the remainder of funding to complete this project, and the fact that we have already raised a portion of this money will go a long way in convincing the Legislature to provide the remainder next year.
Membership is $35 annually and includes all members of your family that reside in your home.

Skate with the Nanooks - after games this is a perfect opportunity to interact with the players and get photos and autographs

The emphasis is on both fun-raising and fund-raising. The Club activities are designed to let members meet with and get to know the Nanook players and coaches. The Club also organizes a wide variety of fund-raising activities to help support the team.
