Entry Information & Instructions Invited Teams Alabama, Florida, Miami, Ole Miss Entry Procedure This is a closed meet. Only invited teams can enter. All entries will be done through www.DirectAthletics.com. No faxed, emailed or phoned entries will be accepted. Entry Limits There is no limit on individual event entries. Each institution may enter two relay teams per gender for each event. Entry Deadline Tuesday, April 28 by 3:00pm This is a closed meet. Only invited teams can enter. College Student Entries 1. Email Andrea Tepe ([email protected]) with event(s) and entry mark for permission to enter the meet. Entry deadline is Tuesday, April 28 by 3:00pm. You will receive an email confirmation as to whether your entry is accepted. Do not attempt to enter online. Online entry fees will not be refunded. 2. A meet entry fee of $5 will be collected at packet pickup with a student ID. An entry fee of $20 will be charged if no student ID is shown. Performance Lists Performance lists will be posted at www.LSUsports.net/meetinfo on Wednesday, April 29 after 12:00pm.

Meet Information Facility Bernie Moore Track Stadium on the campus of LSU is a 5,280-seat, lighted facility that was renovated in 2011. It is surfaced with Mondo FTX, the same surface used in the Beijing Olympics. The facility contains a 400 meter oval and an interior sprint/hurdle straightaway, both with nine 48-inch wide lanes. Field Events Field event areas include two dual directional horizontal jump runways, four dual directional Pole Vault runways, two Shot Put areas including six circles, and a multi-purpose High Jump area within the oval capable of contesting three High Jump competitions at once. Both the southwest and southeast corners of the facility contain a Javelin runway and a Hammer/Discus ring and cage. Horizontal Jumps Long Jump: Women’s Triple Jump: Men’s Triple Jump:

Parking Parking is available at the Bernie Moore Lot (lot 104) off Nicholson Drive. Buses may park along Nicholson Drive on a first-come first-serve basis. Additional bus parking is located at the gravel parking lot (lot 107- former Alex Box Stadium lot). Any illegally parked vehicles may be subject to ticketing and towing. Wristbands Wristbands for athletes and coaches will be included in the packets. Athletes and coaches will not be permitted to access the track without a wristband. Support staff wristbands will allow access to Bernie Moore Stadium but not onto the track surface. Only individuals with a wristband may enter the Carl Maddox Fieldhouse.

Pole Vault Pole Shipping Please do not have pole vault poles shipped to LSU. Poles must be shipped to your hotel. Sports Medicine Trainers will be in Carl Maddox Fieldhouse just inside the Southwest portal. Team trainers may set up in the designated team camp areas of Carl Maddox Fieldhouse. Time Schedule A final schedule will be in your packet and will be posted at www.LSUsports.net/meetinfo on Wednesday, April 29 after 12:00pm. Heat Sheets & Results Heat sheets will be in your packet at check in. Individual event results will be posted in main entry foyer of Bernie Moore Stadium. Final results will be available from the press box after the meet and will be posted at www.LSUsports.net/meetinfo. Scoring Individual Events: Top six places will score (10-8-6-4-2-1). Relay Events: One relay per team will score (10-8-6-4-2). Pre-Meet Practice Bernie Moore Track will be available for team practice on Friday, May 1 from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM ONLY. Hammer/Discus practice will be permitted in the West Ring from 4:30-5:30 PM and Javelin practice will be permitted from 5:30-6:30 PM on the West Runway. Carl Maddox Fieldhouse will not be available for practice on Friday. Warm Ups Carl Maddox Fieldhouse and the adjacent grass field will be available for warm ups. Field Events: Athletes will have access to field event venues for warm ups approximately 45 minutes prior to the scheduled start of competition (Pole Vault and High Jump will have access 60 minutes prior to the scheduled start). Warm ups for field events will be terminated ten minutes prior to the scheduled start of the event. In the high jump, tape measures may not be used within 30 minutes of the start of competition. Athlete Check-In Running Events: Athletes must check in one event prior to their own event at the Clerk of Course (near Gate 11). Relay teams must turn in a relay card when they check in at the Clerk of Course. All athletes must have their spikes checked prior to check-in. Field events: Athletes must check in prior to the start of their event with the Head Judge at the event site. All athletes must have their spikes checked prior to check-in. Implement Weigh-In Implement inspections will be held in the LSU Track & Field Pavilion, accessible through Gate 14. Inspections for all throwing events will begin 2 hours before the scheduled start of competition on Saturday, and will terminate 60 minutes prior to the scheduled start of competition in each throwing event. Implements will be transported to the event site 60 minutes prior to the scheduled start of competition. Starting Heights Approximate Starting Heights in the vertical jumps are as follows Men Women High Jump 6-2 5-2 Pole Vault 15-3 10-6 Exact starting heights will be determined by meet management after all entries are received. FACILITY REGULATIONS SPIKES  All spikes must be presented and will be checked at the spike check table inside Gate 13. Athletes will not be allowed to compete without having their spikes tagged at the spike check table. Any athletes competing with non-tagged spikes will be disqualified.  Acceptable spikes: o ¼” pyramids o 3/8” recessed pyramids will be permitted for High Jump and Javelin

TAPE  Tape for any marking on the track (relay exchange zones, jumpers’/throwers’ markings) must be white athletic tape. NO other tape will be allowed. Chalk is prohibited for any marking. Athletes caught using chalk will be disqualified HYDRATION  Water is the only permitted drink allowed on the track facility.
