the top 2015 prospects in the country. Hampshire was represented very well by Michael Kruse and Matthew Kielbasa during the 2016 workout. Michael Kruse ran the 2nd fastest 60 with a time of 7.00. Jeremy Houston from Mt. Carmel ran a 6.95. Congrats to both Michael and Matthew for making the most of their opportunity.

Jake Goebbert continues his climb through the minor league system with another successful season. Jake hit .304 is AA with a .399 OBP, both career highs. Jake is currently playing offseason baseball in the Liga Venezuela Beisbol Profesional, otherwise known as the Venezuelan League The Venezuelan League ends on December 20th and is littered with several MLB prospects.

COACH DAVID TRIANA The Hampshire Baseball Program would like to welcome David Triana to the coaching staff. Coach Triana will assist the Varsity this spring and is a part-time counselor here at Hampshire High School. He also coaches football and basketball. He graduated from Illinois State University.
