February 9, 2016 Motion was made to start meeting 7:05p 10 in attendance~ Jason Smith, Jeff Jorritsma, Barb Small, Jason Forgue, Michele Hicks, Dan Myrick, Scott Rousseau, Paul Graham, Jared Heeter & Cori Heeter Treasure Report was presented and accepted: $2018.89 DMB Donated $500, request no sign. Aero Fasteners donated $350. Huntington Country Store donated $500. New Business: Taxes are all done and submitted. Paul noted that the Town will not ok the Electronics at Pettis but we could go to the town to have a vote. Jason proposed a Hamburg and Hot Dog Fundraiser Banquet for April 2 but May would work better. Amanda LaMoutain sent in a letter to see if she could get a waiver for George to play LL in Westfield. ~No waiver was give A few more Logos were presented. We have extended the Logo Contest until March 15. Old Business: We voted to have the kids draw up a Logo for the Little League to be displayed on Shirt to sell and also to be displayed on the website and Facebook. The winner will receive a free sign up for the 2016 season. Designs due by Feb 15.~ pushed back till March 15 Jason F found out the Russel Field is owed by the Town. Jason mentioned seeing if the parking lot next to the fire station might be available to use by the land owner. We were told “no” by the tenants in the past that those were spots for the apartments across the street. Jared will to speak with Cara Latender about using the Blandford Town Hall Gym (old Elementary school) for the Little League to get some practice in during the winter. ~Got the OK from Cara and Town to use the gym Feb & Mar on Mondays from 5-7 Paul spoke about Division Placement for Jr/Sr 13-16 in Northampton and will give more information as it is available. Matt Puzza was chosen for the All-Star Honorable Mention for our League. Paul G suggested putting up a plaque for him and future winners. Paul emphasized that we need to have all the coaches go to the clinic when the dates are up. Ex: Bill Al’s Clinic.
