Several members of the Alumnae chapter volunteered with collegiate members of Sigma and Alpha Mu at the annual Jayhawks for a Cure basketball game on February 5th. Zetas, lead by Jennifer Hull, helped to greet survivors at the pre-game luncheon, and passed out headbands and pink ribbons at the game at this annual event.

Alumnae sisters gathered at the home of Joan Dibble for our annual Holiday Party. We enjoyed a lovely pot luck meal and collected 40 toys to be donated to Toys for Tots.







The rescheduled January event was held on Jan 29 at the American Jazz Museum and Negro Leagues Baseball Museum in the historic 18th and Vine district. Members and guests enjoyed learning about how jazz helped shape Kansas City as we know it. They also discovered how the Negro Baseball League was formed in the Paseo YMCA just down the street from the museums.
