Fenton First!!! Congratulations to the boys Varsity team as they opened their Invitational season by capturing 1st place at the very competitive Fenton Invite on Saturday! The guys worked together as a team and it paid off in the end. The top 5 runners for the Lancers were Jeremy Lozano, Lucas Bracher, Andy Tomaka, Zach Schwarz and Eric Dade. Several new Lancers

made strong debuts in the meet as well and they included Robert Kincanon, Jason Joda, Will Dover, Jacob Pacione, Alex Caines, Billy Murphy, Luis DeLeon, Ethan Guerra and Brandon Mueller. While not new to the course, John Bradley and Ryan Mack ran also PR times. Overlooked in all the preseason polls, the Lancers served notice that they will be a factor come November. After last year’s 2nd place State finish and the graduation of 8 Seniors, the girls team welcomes several new faces.. The lone returnee from last year’s top 8 is Nicole Alfano and she picked up right where she left off. She ran a great race to finish 8th overall while several other girls ran PRs. All in all it was a good start for both programs. Both teams will be in action this Saturday 9:00 at East Campus as we host the Harvey Braus Classic. This is a huge invite which is sure to bring several great performances.
