Step 1 Anchor a 6-inch length of wire to one side of one component near the lower curve. Hold the component and an inch of the wire (tail) in one hand. With your other hand, lay the wire over the top of the component. Bring the wire behind the component and pull it up through the middle of the component. Repeat once more so the wire is anchored to the component with two wraps. Step 2 String the following beads onto the wire: Row 1: 5 – olive seed beads 1 – golden shadow bicone pendant 5 – olive seed beads Step 3 Push all the beads toward the anchor so that they fit snugly inside the component. Anchor the wire on the opposite side of the component. Trim the wire and tail. Step 4 Repeat Steps 1 – 3 using these beads in the following sequence, anchoring each new wire close to the previous row of beads below it: Row 2: 11 – olive seed beads Row 3: 11 – light khaki seed beads Row 4: 10 – lemongrass seed beads Row 5: 10 – light khaki seed beads Row 6: 9 – olive seed beads Row 7: 8 – olive seed beads Row 8: 7 – olive seed beads Row 9: 7 – light khaki seed beads Row 10: 6 – olive seed beads Row 11: 5 – olive seed beads Row 12: 4 – lemongrass seed beads Row 13: 4 – olive seed beads Row 14: 3 – olive seed beads Row 15: 2 – olive seed beads Row 16: 1 – olive seed bead Step 5 Using chain nose pliers, open the loop on one ear wire (see Attaching an Ear Wire Technique). Attach it to the loop at the top of the component. Close the loop. Step 6 Repeat Steps 1 – 5 for the second earring.
