Miss Me, But Let Me Go. When I come to the end of the road, And the sun has set for me,
O U R
I want no rites in a gloom-filled room, Why cry for a soul set free? Miss me a little--but not too long, And not with your head bowed low; Remember the love that we once shared Miss me--but let me go. For this is a journey that we all must take, And each must go alone. It's all a part of the Master's plan, A step on the road to home. When you are lonely and sick at heart, Go to the friends we know,

Please don’t cry I’m not really gone When you look out the window I’ll be standing on the lawn When you cry yourself to sleep I’ll be by your bed Please don’t cry Just because we had to part As long as you remember me I’ll forever live in your heart Please don’t cry Don’t run and hide When you need a shoulder to lean on I’ll be by your side Please don’t cry When you’re sad and weak I’ll be there To kiss you on the cheek Please don’t cry This is not a goodbye So please, Don’t Cry!

God saw that you were getting tired, A cure was not to be. So He put His arms around you and whispered, "Come with Me." With tearful eyes, we watched you suffer, And saw you fade away. Although we loved you dearly, We could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, Hard working hands to rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us He only takes "the best".
