Class Supplies: Sewing Machine Before class learn how to make the blind hem stitch, sometimes called appliqué or blanket stitch on your sewing machine Schmetz Microtex Sharp size 80 or 90 needle Contrasting Thread for Appliqué stitching Rotary Cutter and pad A revolving pad for rotary cutting if you have one Iron and ironing pad Good wooden turning tool 10” or 12” rotary ruler Please come to class with your Front “Border” and the Back fabrics cut into eight 6” x 8 ½” rectangles. Do not cut appliqué fabrics or fusible web.
