Foundation Stage Newsletter Topic This half term our book will be ‘The Something’ by Rebecca Cobb. This book is about a boy who when playing with his dog in the garden, loses his ball down a little hole. They lay by the hole wondering how they can get their ball back and what is down there. Within this topic we will be exploring the themes of imagination, family & friends and habitats. The children will each be given their own magical key to take home this term to unlock the hole and tell us about what they think is down there. Could it be a mouse house? Or a troll’s lair? Maybe even a dragon’s den? Let your imagination run wild with the endless possibilities!
