Fund Development Coordinator Heritage Park Historical Village Heritage Park has an immediate opportunity in its Fund Development Department for the role of Fund Development Coordinator. Under the direction of the Head of Fund Development, you will be responsible for fundraising initiatives for Heritage Park including the development and implementation of the annual giving program, as well as cultivating and maintaining relationships with new and existing donors. This is a full-time, year-round position with an excellent benefits and pension plan package. Duties and Responsibilities: Assists with the development and implementation of short and long term strategic fund development priorities Creates and implements fundraising campaigns including direct mail, individual and monthly giving Grows Heritage Park’s annual giving program Develops and maintains relationships with donors Researches and writes grant proposals Assists with the Fund Developments’ signature events Job Requirements: Post-secondary education in a related field, such as non-profit management, fundraising and/or communications A minimum of three years of experience with a proven track record of developing, managing and implementing an annual giving program and experience in building and maintaining donor relationships High degree of familiarity and competencies with all fundraising areas with strategic, analytical, interpretive, and evaluation skills Exceptional interpersonal and communications (written and verbal) skills with a donor-centric approach to fundraising Outstanding planning, organization, project management, prioritization, and time-management skills are required to manage multiple, on-going projects simultaneously Strong administrative and technical skills, including MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Experience with Raiser’s Edge a definite asset A valid driver’s license required with access to a vehicle for travel within the Calgary region Working Conditions and Hours of Work: 35 hours per week; occasional early morning, evening, and weekend work required Make a little history of your own!
