In Gmail: (mail.google.com) To import contacts to Gmail: 1. At the top-left corner, click Gmail > Contacts. 2. Above the contacts list, click More > Import.... 3. Click Choose File. 4. Select the file you'd like to upload. 5. Click Import. When it's done, Gmail will display the number of contacts imported. Google Contacts will show your imported contacts on the left side named "Imported Current Date." 6. Select the More menu, and "Rename Group" to First Class Contacts.
