Grammar Rugby 2016 TGS Rugby Notes - Fortnight Ending 19/6/2016 – Rounds 13 and 14 From the Director of Rugby: Rounds 13 + 14
We look forward to the return of the International Rugby season this weekend with the start of a three test series between Australia and England. Pre-match ‘cat and mouse’ between coaches and past Randwick teammates, Eddie Jones and Michael Cheika, has proved entertaining so far… I’m sure the series won’t disappoint either! Great to see Rugby Union back on free to air, Saturday night on Channel Ten. th
U16’s will train on Monday 13 , for all other teams there will be no training in Week 10 as all sides play midweek games before the holidays. Although U8 – U11 training is cancelled in Week 10, I encourage the U8 and U11 players to come and support the U10 fixture being played on the Junior School oval on Wednesday afternoon in their regular training slot. Finally, congratulations to the following U15 Grammar players who were selected for the North Queensland Schoolboys team last week: Jamie Osmond, Mykel Passi and Taiku Wailu.
