Q2.What are we doing about it? EU Target = 20 – 20 – 20 by 2020. 20% reduction in energy consumption 20% reduction in emissions 20% from renewables
UK Target = Based on Carbon Budgets. 3rd = 35% reduction in emissions by 2020 4th = 50% reduction in emissions by 2025 Final goal = 80% reduction by 2050 12 June 2013
