[email protected] Leave the screed with a wood float finish to establish a mechanical key. Allow screed at least 7 days to cure prior to :ling. It should be approximately 15mm in thickness for fully bonded screed and 40mm minimum for selfsuppor:ng screed. Mixing The mixed material is usable for up to 2 hours. 1. Use approximately 3.5L of water with 15kg of the powder. 2. Add powder to clean water in a suitable container and mix to a thick creamy consistency. 3. Allow to stand for 5 minutes, re-s:r the mixture thoroughly and it is ready for use. So not add addi:onal water. Applica(on 1. Apply the GSA FLOORFIX to the surface with a 10 x 10 x 10mm notched trowel to achieve 100% coverage on the back of the :le. 2. Spread only 1 square metre at a :me and ensure a skin has not developed on the adhesive before bedding the :les. 3. Press and slide the :le into posi:on ensuring the whole of the back of the :le is in good contact with the adhesive. Deeply keyed quarry :les and some extruded :les may require buVering of the adhesive on the back of the :les to ensure 100% coverage. 4. The final adhesive bed must not be less than 3mm thick or more than 10mm and should have a final joint width of approximately 3-10mm. Use :le spacers if desired to ensure even spacing.
