SHOWJUMPING CLASS - For riders who would like to just do the show jumping but not the dressage you can enter the show jumping class at the applicable height. This will be for ribbons, but not trophies.

Entries close: 8pm Tuesday 18th 2017, after this time a late fee of $10 per entry will be incurred. All parents must help with the running of this event, if you are unable to help please contact Shona to discuss your circumstances prior to entering. Branches are ensure entry fees are collected and deposited with the Hamilton PC by Wednesday 19th April. Unpaid entries will not be put in the draw until payment is received The draw and results will be emailed out. Competition Details
Riders entering both the Dressage Shield competition and the Combined Training Event only do Test B, D, J or P once; the resulting score will be used for both competitions. Dressage & Show Jumping – PC uniform or jackets. Games – PC uniform Dressage Callers are allowed for all classes. All Dressage tests held in a short arena 40x20 Whips are permitted, but must be correct length (incl flapper) 100cm - Ponies, 110cm - Hacks Bits must be “legal” for both games & dressage see (no gags, bevels etc). Please be advised - Riding is a High Risk sporting Activity. Riders need to employ Best Practice when competing and handling horses. Please be reminded to keep an eye out for small children and spectators or people on the ground. Please ensure you are not taking risks when managing yourself or your mount.

If you assisting on the day in any capacity please ensure you are: A - using the correct safety equipment i.e. helmets, eyewear, footwear etc. B - using equipment or machinery in a safe and responsible manner C - providing service or support in a manner which allows for the Health and Safety of all concerned.
