y p p a H ! r a e Y w e N Message from Mayor Pengra: Hello friends and neighbors, I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself. My name is Christopher Pengra and I was recently elected to SERVE YOU as mayor of Eagle Mountain. I grew up in Southern CA and moved to Utah in 1996. I’m a veteran of the USAF where our core values were, “Integrity First, Service before Self, and Excellence in All We Do.” These are still the values I live by. I’ve been married to my lovely wife Lianne for 9 years. We have two daughters, 4 and 6, and a chocolate lab named Romie. My non-military career has been anchored in the banking, finance, and investment fields. I have a Bachelors degree in Business Administration and I have an appetite for learning. Most importantly, I love this community and it will be my great pleasure to serve you! I look forward to getting to know you.

Snow Removal The City is responsible for snow removal. Here is the information from the EM city website: The City strives to maintain safe traction for vehicles. With high costs in snow and ice removal, dry pavement should not be expected on all streets in all storms. Eagle Mountain City has five snow plow trucks with salt spreaders. Streets are plowed in order of priority. PRIORITY 1 – Arterials roads (Eagle Mountain Blvd, Ranches Parkway, and Pony Express Parkway) PRIORITY 2 – Collector roads, school zones, hills and curves PRIORITY 3 – Residential, alleyways, cul-de-sacs PRIORITY 4 – Unimproved roads Home owners are responsible for snow and ice removal on sidewalks and driveways. No snow or ice should be removed from private property onto roadways. The street plowing process may create a build-up of snow in front of driveways. It would be neither cost nor time effective for city snow plow drivers to stop and assist in clearing this build-up in front of driveways. We ask for the understanding and cooperation of home owners with this. If you have a question about snow removal on City streets, please call the Streets Department at 801-789-6677. If you have a question about snow removal on SR-73 or Redwood Road, please call UDOT’s Region 3 office at (801) 227-8000, or visit their website at www.udot.utah.gov

WI N N E R S !
We have had several homeowners whose auto-payments have suddenly stopped withdrawing funds. Many times, this is because the banking system uses a 36 month auto-pay limit. As you set up your accounts for auto-pay, please be aware that the maximum time that can be inputted to have these withdrawals taken out is 36 months, after which you will need to reset your account. If you have any questions. Please call our accounting staff at: 801-789-7900 or send an email to them at:
