Hello my name is Danyal Walters. This is my first year as Lay director for the A-OK via de Cristo. I am super excited about our Ministry through Via de Cristo! I went through Via de Cristo in the spring of 2002 in Ft Smith Arkansas at St. Scholastica. After my weekend I wanted to be the change God needed me to be. My heart has been on fire for Via de Cristo since my weekend as so many more have gone through Via de Cristo. Via de Cristo is a three-day retreat. I use the word retreat loosely because it is not like any other retreat you have been too. It is way more than a retreat! Each weekend is unique to each participant. If you have not been through Via de Cristo and have questions, please stop by our booth to ask any questions. If you have been through Via de Cristo but are not receive emails or mail from our Secretariat please stop by our booth and update your information. Part of our VDC weekend is our Agape prayer team which typically is 10-15 anonymous people who are on site in constant prayer for the VDC weekend. We will have a prayer room where you are welcome to come and allow us to pray over you. We will also have a prayer box in the Synod Assembly meeting room where you have the opportunity to fill out requests for our team to pray over. On Sunday we will burn the requests so they stay anonymous. We all know that prayer is our direct connection with God. Please come visit us! Please ask questions. Please consider coming to a Via de Cristo weekend. If you would like to go on a weekend we have scholarships or if you would like to make a donation, please let us know. Two to three weeks after the VDC weekend we have an Ultreya which is a mini VDC weekend where we have servant events to help share our ministry.
