Dear Devotee, Namaskar With the blessings of the Divine Mother, it is our great pleasure to invite you with family and friends to the upcoming 3-day Bhumi Puja Celebrations (Ground Breaking Ceremony) of the New HCC Temple in Stratford, CT, from Friday, June 16 to Sunday, June 18, 2017. As you may know, HCC is embarking upon the significant task of building the new temple structure and installing permanent sanctums for our deities. HCC is deeply grateful for your service and support to the temple so far and invites you to take part in the upcoming Bhumi Puja Celebration, which is the first step towards achieving the goal of building our new temple. On this occasion, all devotees will have the opportunity to personally perform the Bhumi Puja and directly take part in this once in a life time occasion. On the occasion of this auspicious event, various special pujas have been planned to be performed during the 3 days. •
On Saturday (6/17/17) morning, there will be a Sahasra Modaka Lakshmi Ganapati Homa (Havan with 1008 modaks) to pray for timely availability of resources and avoidance of obstacles to this noble endeavor. Various other homas for other deities will also be performed at this time.

On Saturday (6/17/17) evening, there will be a Maha Puja to Durga, Lakshmi, Saraswati followed by a cultural program offering to the Lord.

On Sunday (6/18/17) morning, samuhika Bhumi Puja by devotees, followed by placing of the bhumi puja materials in the sacred bhumi puja pit by the devotees.
