HIS HILL RANCH CAMP 2017 FALL NEWSLETTER Another camp season has come and gone, and now we’ve had time to reflect on the Lord’s faithfulness and goodness to us over these past few months. Seeing and hearing testimony of Christ’s work in the lives of young people is something that never gets old. Many Christians can testify of God’s work in their lives while they were still young, and God delights to see children trusting in Him! We read in Psalm 71:17, “O God, You have taught me from my youth, and I still declare Your wondrous deeds.” The psalmist acknowledges God’s work in his life while he was still young. Faith in Christ is not something reserved for adults, but it is God’s desire for all people regardless of their place in life. Young or old, rich or poor, strong or weak, the Lord Jesus invites us to trust Him in everything.

Every area of life is meant to lead us to faith in Christ, so that we would look to Him in our marriages, parenting, work, and even in our entertainment. That’s to be the purpose of camp as well. Years from now children should be able to reflect back on their time at His Hill and say, “O God, You have taught me from my youth…” Thank you for your love and support in the Lord’s work here at His Hill, and please continue to be praying for us as we look ahead to next summer! May we continue to look to Christ as our source of life.
