From each set of fat quarters, cut (4) 7 ⅞ʺ squares. Cut each set of squares in half diagonally to yield a total of (8) half-square-triangle units per set.
Pair the following sets of fat quarters with right sides together:
23538-F (Forest/Gold Curly Cue) • Cut (6) 2ʺ x WOF strips. Sew together end to end with diagonal seams; press. • Cut (2) 2ʺ x 52 ½ʺ and (2) 2ʺ x 56 ½ʺ. • Cut (6) 2 ½ʺ strips for binding.

2. Refer to layout for placement of units A-G or place blocks into your preferred setting.
1. Sew each half-square-triangle unit together along the long edge to yield (8) H-S-T units of each set A-G. Press seams open. Make (56) units.

3. Sew blocks together into rows. Press seams open. 4. Sew rows together matching triangle tips. Press seams open. 5. Sew a 2ʺ x 56 ½ʺ border strip to each side of the quilt. Press toward the borders. Sew a 2ʺ x 52 ½ʺ strip to the top and bottom of the quilt. Press toward the borders. Finishing 1. Layer quilt top, batting and prepared backing. Quilt as desired. 2. Trim layers even with edges of quilt top. 3. Prepare binding and sew to quilt using your preferred method.
