Sewing Directions Circles 1. Layer an H Lining on an A circle, right side together (with the rough (adhesive) side of the lining facing the right side of circle). Sew a ¼" seam along the raw edges, to make an AH circle. DO NOT PRESS until Step 4 below.

23528 R - Color Blends - Red E. Cut (2) 1½" x 14½" Side Inner Border strips. F. Cut (2) 1½" x 36½" Top and Bottom Inner Border strips. G. Cut a 12" x 35" rectangle. Fusible Interfacing for Lining H. Cut (3) 10½" diameter circles. Binding - 25900 RK - Snowflake Tiles - Red/Gray

 

2. Pull the lining away from the A circle. With a small pair of scissors, clip the center of the lining and cut about a 3" '+' shape. Through this hole, turn the circle inside out. With a tool, make sure to push the seam out and finger-press only. 3. Repeat Steps 1-2 to make 3 AH circles.

4. Trace (3) 11" circles on the paper side of the Paper-backed Fusible Web. Rough cut around the circles. Position Fusible Web circles on the back of the G rectangle and adhere. Cut on the traced circle shapes to get 3 GF circles.

Finishing: 12. Layer quilt top, batting and backing; baste, quilt as desired. Trim layers even with quilt top.

 

5. Center and pin the AH circle, lining side down, on top of the right side of a GF circle to make an AGH circle. Do the same to the other AH circles.

13. Sew (4) 2½" x WOF binding strips together end to end with a 45-degree seams to make binding. Fold this long strip in half lengthwise with wrong sides together and press.

Applique

14. Bind as desired.

6. Evenly set apart and center the 3 AGH circles on the B rectangle and press to fuse in place.

 

7. Applique the AGH circles.

Quilt Assembly (Refer to Quilt Layout Diagram.) 8. Sew an F strip onto the long edges of the B rectangle. 9. Sew an E strip onto the remaining sides of the B rectangle to create a BEF rectangle that measures 14½" x 38½". 10. Sew a D strip onto the long edges of the BEF rectangle. 11. Sew a C strip onto the remaining sides of the BEF rectangle to create a quilt that measures 20½" x 44½".
