ANNOUNCEMENTS CORRECTION: LABOR DAY WEEKEND SCHEDULE—Next Sunday, September 3rd, we will have our regular 8 & 10:30 am worship services and Adult Bible Study and Sunday School will meet at the regular times. The Church Office and the Preschool will be closed on Monday, September 4th. Blessings on your Labor Day holiday. “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters , since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.” (Colossians 3:23-24) PRAYER ROOM—In need of restoration? Wounded in heart, body or relationship? We will join you in seeking healing through prayer in our new Prayer Room that has been set up at the back of the sanctuary. "SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE: AN ANNUAL GALA SUPPORTING LIVEUCF"—will be held on Saturday, September 23rd at 6pm at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church. LiveUCF is a church on the campus of the University of Central Florida that is supported by local congregations. Tickets are $40 and will include a plated meal, open bar, a silent auction and guest speaker. Join us for an evening of creativity in support of LiveUCF. Tickets can be purchased at http://www.liveucf.org/gala/ or you can contact Laura Blank - [email protected]. Table sponsorships are available. Contact Meridith Swanson, [email protected]. CARDS NEEDED—The Card Ministry is asking for donations of adult and children’s birthday cards as well as anniversary cards. Donations can be brought to the office or given to one of our Altar Guild ladies.
