How To Guide: Embedding a LookBook on an Eloqua Landing Page The LookBook App for Eloqua allows you to embed LookBooks on Eloqua landing pages. To accomplish this, there are three main things you need to do.
Step One: Enable the LookBook Cloud Component [Setup]
Before you can use the LookBook Embed Cloud Component with your landing pages, you’ll first need to enable the LookBook Embed component. 1. Log in to Eloqua. 2. Click on setup. 3. Once on the application set up page, click on the Cloud Components in the Administration section. 4. In the pop up menu, search for ‘LookBook’ or scroll down until you see the listing for LookBook Embed.
5. Click enable.
Step Two: Add the LookBook Component to the Landing Page You have created a landing page in Eloqua and you want to embed a LookBook. To do this, you’ll need to locate the LookBook app on the Cloud Components list. 1. While on the landing page editor, click the Cloud Components icon in the tool bar on the left side of your screen.
2. A pop up menu will appear. Search for ‘LookBook’ or scroll down until you see the listing for LookBook Embed. 3. Select the LookBook Embed option.
4. Drag the LookBook Embed component on to your landing page.
Step Three: Select a LookBook to Embed
Once you’ve added the LookBook Embed component to your landing page, you’ll need to select the LookBook that will be embedded on the page. 1. Double click the LookBook component on your landing page.
2. This will launch the LookBook app in a new window. If you are not logged in to your HQ, then you will be prompted to log in; otherwise, skip this step and go right to the LookBook selection.
3. From the LookBook selection screen, select a LookBook to embed on your Eloqua landing page using the radio button beside the LookBook title.
4. Select the number of tiles for your LookBook Embed to a max. of 12 tiles.
5. Then confirm the selections you just made by clicking Embed Lookbook.
6. Close the window and return to Eloqua. You won’t see a preview of your LookBook just yet; the LookBook component placeholder will still be there until the page is published. 7. Finally, you must size your LookBook to ensure that it embeds properly. Right click (or control+click for Mac users) on the LookBook component placeholder on your page, and select Format Dimensions to launch the Layout Tools. In the Size option, enter the recommended width of 580 and height of 410, and close the Layout Tools.
8. You can additionally resize it as needed using your mouse, and you can also drag your LookBook to a different position on the page as well. Remember to save the page, and then preview it to see the interactive embedded LookBook in action on your landing page.
