HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER Department: Administration Reports To: General Manager Hours: 10-15 hrs/wk Compensation: $11.00/hour Job Responsibilities: Manage activities of HR department including, but not limited to, the following duties: Work with department heads to promote job openings, recruit applicants, assist with interviews and hiring decisions Follow procedures to add new staff members to all office systems (payroll, email, directories) Maintain staff files and employee records, including local and permanent contact information, tax records Assist department heads with job reviews and personnel forms, including job descriptions, recruiting material, staff change notifications, exit documents, etc. Promptly update payroll, personnel systems and web site to reflect staff changes Conduct orientation for new staff members; process necessary paperwork for payroll and accounting Maintain records of Daily’s policies, procedures and compensation administration Work with General Manager and department heads to research and develop new policies/procedures Supervise HR staff members, including front desk personnel Ensure compliance with legal regulations, including equal opportunity guidelines Respond promptly to requests from federal/state agencies, accounting firms, insurance companies, etc. for documentation and employment data Respond promptly to requests for employment history for previous staff members Other duties as assigned Qualifications: Must be a university of Minnesota student with at least one year remaining before graduation.
