Geotextile Fabric Geotextile fabric is required on edges of excavation and on top of the stone layer (if covered), but NOT allowed on the bottom of the facility to allow for infiltration.

Observation Well Observation well should be flush with bottom of excavation and may be solid or perforated pipeFOLLOW PLANS! Note that pipe should only be perforated in the stone layer, not the sand layer as it will wash into the pipe.
