Step 1 — iPhone 7 Teardown 

Power off the phone and take out sim card tray.



Undo 2 pentalobe screws by pentalobe screwdriver

Heat up screen edges for a while by a heat gun or hair dryer.



Then use a double suction cup to lift up the screen assembly.



when a little gap was generated, insert the guitar pick for help to cut the screen adhesives.

Step 4



Now separate the screen assembly from the rear housing assembly. be careful when open it, the screen assembly is open to side, not like the predecessors

Undo 4 triangle screws covering the metal shield cover



Remove metal cover.



Disconnect battery and screen &digitizer connectors.

Step 6



Undo 2 Philips screws and its metal shield, then disconnect thefront facing camera flex cable.



Now the screen assembly can be removed.

Undo 3 small Phillips screws and then remove the metal cover.

Step 8



Remove earpiece speaker screws here.



Remove earpiece speaker now.



Remove front facing camera flex cable with with light and proximity sensor. be careful this flex cable assembly is sticked to the front frame.

Undo 4 triangle screws holding the home button metal shield



Remove the metal shield.

Step 10



Undo 6 triangle screws holding the metal shield.



Remove LCD metal shield. Be careful, the LCD and digitizer flex cables is bonded to the metal shield on its back!

Disconnect home button flex cableconnector.



Apply some heat to loosen the home button flex cable if you feel hard removing it, then press down the home button.

Undo 2 small Philips screws holding the rear facing camera then release it



Remove metal cover and then remove iPhone 7 rear facing camera.

Undo 3 small Philips screws holding the Wifi antenna metal shield then 2 Philips screws under it, then you can remove the wifi antenna now.

Here we need to undo 2 Phillips screws and remove the metal shield cover before release the side button flex cable connector.

Undo 2 small Philips screws then remove the antenna then you can remove antenna flex cable (be careful when pry up the antenna flex which is sticked to the rear housing).

Undo all Philips screw holding the mother board.

Disconnect the charging port flex cable connector,signal cable clips.



Remove motherboard.

Step 18



Undo 3 Small Philips screws holding the Taptic Engine (vibrating motor).



Undo 2 Small Philips screws then remove the cover.

Disconnect the Taptic engine connector then release it.

Gradually pull out the battery adhesive to release the battery.

Undo 4 small Philips screws holding the loud speaker then release loudspeaker.

Step 22



Undo small Philips screws securing the charging port flex cable assembly then remove the charging port cable. there are 5 screws around in total.

Undo 5 small Philips screws and 1 Philips screw.
