January 11, 2018 Board Meeting Minutes Attendance: Meg Bacon, Aaron Michelucci, Kerri Tymeson, Chris Pinney, Tim McMahon, Heidi Leonard, Heather Liptak, Lisa Valente, Beth Rowbotham, Shanna Barker, John Millard, Amy Balser, Crystal Moritko, Jen Ondrick, Christy Roselli, Sarah Fisher, Paul Braccialarghe Approve November 2016 Minutes: Approved President Report – Aaron Michelucci • Recognitions and Miscellaneous Updates • Evaluation Update • State Play downs • Player Development ◦ Goalies ◦ Coaches meeting 1st Vice President Report – Chris Bard • LTS / LTP Update ◦ LTS / LTP Coordinator: Need a new coordinator for next year • Novice Update: will have enough for 2 teams 2nd Vice President Report – Chris Pinney • Ice schedule update: open dates / other: 3 open slots were emailed out last night. • Fire and Ice tournament: Ready to go! Need propane tanks. Swing by Westfield Feed and they will fill it. Coolers are also needed if you have one. Set up this evening and anyone can stay and help. Time keepers and refs are all set. Financial Director Report– Meg Bacon • Financial update: reconciled balance 78,075.65. Final ices fees due January 15. Skaters won’t be allowed on the ice if they are not paid up. Deduct $10.00 credit card fee if you are paying by check or yo will have a credit on your account. • Tournament money proposal: • Financial director vacancy: May 31st is out Megs last day. We need help in the position! • Calendar raffle: we have made net $11,684.91. of that amount 1500 outstanding with ice payments over the next few days. The proposal is to give $300 to each team to be used for the
teams to use at their discretion. The remainder to be used for player and goalie development. Communications Report – Tim McMahon • Winter Clinics: Clinic by Car over February vacation at Olympia. Details are on our web site. • Other Miscellaneous: None Fundraiser Report – Heidi Leonard • Next year: not enough time this year to get another one in. Working on pocket book BINGO for next year also. Looking at getting prizes for calendar raffle for next year. Possibility of prepaying for the raffles at registration. GSL Report – Paul Braccialarghe • GSL Update: Need game sheets to be turned in. USA Hockey Report – Jennifer Ondrick: No issues to report Merchandise Report – John Millard: Some extra gear to be raffled off at Fire and Ice Miscellaneous / Open Forum – ALL • End of year trophies: mites and novice with names on the trophies and LTP/LTS with medals.
