2018 Women’s Retreat Plan now for our February 23-25 women’s retreat at the beautiful Prothro Retreat Center at Lake Texoma. The retreat will be a place where women come to hear the story of God and learn to discover our own. As we move from cover-to-cover, we will prepare our hearts to hear stories of redemption, forgiveness, calling, provision, love, mercy and unconditional love with the hope that along the way you can hear hints and whispers of your story too. To sign up, visit www.SharingtheHeart.org/Womens-Retreat.
Join Sole Sisters on Thursday, January 18, 6:00pm, at 1205 Bristlewood in McKinney. A potato bar will be served and Carolyn Curfman will share about her Alaska adventures. Sole Sisters is a group for the support and fellowship of women living alone. Contact
[email protected] for more information.
As members of the church we promise to be loyal to Jesus Christ through the United Methodist Church and to faithfully participate in the ministries of the church with our prayers, our presence, our gifts, our service, and our witness. If you have never been baptized but wish to join the church, you may join by profession of faith and baptism. You may arrange to be baptized at a separate time if you prefer. If you have been baptized, we acknowledge your Christian baptism,* and you will not be baptized again.
To become a member of the church: 1. Complete the New Member Form 2. Take your membership vows in any worship service when the pastor invites those who would like to join to come forward. You also may join at one of our quarterly Join the Church Sunday events. Please contact Rev. Patty Froehlich,
