Mathews Little League Board of Directors Date: 1/4/16 Time: 7:05pm Place: Ruratin Club Members in attendance: Ryder, Charles, Vicky, Carey, Melissa, Darlene, Linden, JJ, Dawn, Robin, Jakelynn. Not present: Chris, Richard Ryder called meeting to order: Motion to approve last meetings minutes by Ryder, 2nd by Charles. 1- Financial review was done by Vicky. Talked about donations on behalf of Jordan and from sales of decals. Plus had some donations for the light loan. Ryder will talk to the Stewart family about what they would like done with the donations for the park in his honor. 2- Registration- We will start on 1/16/16, with Fri night the 22nd at the high school basketball game, the 23rd. and if we have to the 30th. Ryder will be in charge again. Starting at THMS from 9-1. 3- Fundraising- Melissa said that she spoke with Heather about some things that needed to be done for the year. Also some ideas for us to think about if we want to do for the year. 4- Upcoming dates; Opening day will be 4/16/16. Skills day will be set for 2/27 @ THMS for new comers and ages 8 moving up to minors. Teams will be picked the following week. Price will be $70, with Blast ball @ $35 for the 3 to 4yr olds. 5- Team pictures- Ryder talked about how we should set up picture schedules with the company. Weather we are able to do them on opening day or during season. 6- Other Business- We still need a Chief Umpire, hopefully we will have one by next meeting. JJ, Ryder and Charles talked about managers meeting for new season, and adding coaches also. Making sure what we expect from them and from the players that they teach. What our vison of what we see as our future and kids future in ball. We will post meeting times for them on face book and through txt. Linden is getting ready to send out donation letters. She had some names to add to our list of donators. They should go out in about a week to 10 days. Ryder closed the meeting at 8:21pm. Next meeting will be 2/1/16 at 7pm
