COOK INLET GIRLS SHINE AT NOVEMBER NIGHTS

WHO’S SMILING NOW! CISC COACHES DOMINATE HIGH SCHOOL SOCCER

TEAM USA READY FOR BRAZIL?

T HE VELOCITY VOLLEY Winter Training with Cook Inlet Soccer Club Spaces filling quickly for CISC’s winter recreational soccer programs

Our recreational program is offered year round and split into three different seasons; fall, winter, and summer. Recreational training and games are offered for all ages and all levels of play. As part of our recreational program, we offer academy style training, which consists of more time on the pitch, to both U10 boys and girls. Competitive training is offered a minimum of twice a week with their respective coaches during the fall and winter sessions. During the summer, many coaches choose to train their teams for as many as four days a week in order to provide the competitive environment that is “Hard work demanded of them in order to compete with the level of play in Region IV.   Supplemental training, which includes technical, physical, finishing, goal keeper training, and ACL injury prevention, is offered twice a week and is available for all competitive level players. This specific hands-on training has been very beneficial to those players who regularly attend. Many coaches have noted seeing these players grow immensely in many aspects of their game in just a short amount of time.

beats talent when talent doesn't work hard.”

November Nights Recap… Outstanding showing by our girls (Velocity 97G Blue), capturing the group championship with 3 impressive victories over highly ranked California teams.  We tied for first in all brackets with 28 points out of a possible 30 points.  Over 75 coaches attended our games, and according to many "the Alaska team was the talk of the tournament".  For full results visit: http://events.gotsport.com/events/ resultsgrid.aspx?EventID=31945&GroupID=282389

! CISC Congratulates Jared! !

With qualifying completed and the USMNT’s ticket to Jared has been selected for the Brazil now in hand, Coach Klinnsmann is beginning his RSL Soccer Academy final preparations before the World Cup this coming summer.  A camp of 23 players, made up mostly of professionals out of MLS, will start the month long camp in sunny California before heading to Brazil for a pre-World Cup dry run.  Many of the players in camp will be battling for the few remaining spots on the World Cup roster, making this camp one of the most important for the USMNT before the big tournament.

The camp concludes when the USMNT return stateside to play a friendly against Korea Republic.  Korea Republic also qualified for the World Cup, making this friendly extremely important for those players hoping to leave a lasting impression on Klinsmann and the US coaching staff.
