Jason, We had previously submitted the 10 Year Waste Management Plans for the Craig Road and the FGD Residue landfills located at the Duke Energy Belews Creek Steam Station, in Stokes county. You had responded with a letter, dated Feb 19, 2011. In that conversation, we were to revise the plan to include the items in your letter. These items were to: 1. develop a specific waste reduction goal and describe how the goal will be met. 2. Revise the plan for a 10 year period. 3. Include a contingency plan for changes that may occur in Federal and/or State law related to coal Ash management during the planning period. After reviewing the letter, we had a telephone conversation, with you, Ed Sullivan and me. You agreed to review our draft wording for items (1) and (3) above to see if they provided sufficient information. The attached document is provided for your review. This document is for the Belews Creek FGD landfill. As we discussed, once we receive your comments, we will modify and submit the remaining plans. These plans will include the waste tonnages for the 2010-2011 period.
