JOHN DEERE 7000, 7100 SERIES & KINZE 2000 SERIES PLANTERS STARTER FERTILIZER PLACEMENT TUBE PART # 38172 (GXSSTJD7071) (Read Instructions Completely before Beginning Installation)

Installation Steps: Before you begin, verify the “package contents” to ensure all items are included.

Step #1: Step #2:

Remove depth gauge wheels and discs, taking note of shim placement. Remove factory seed tube guard. Remove disc guard bolt on the right side of the row unit (standing behind).

Step #3:

Lift Part# 38172 (STJD7071) up into position on row unit.

Step #4:

Align roll pin holes and install new roll pins (supplied).

Step #5:

Re-install seed tube, and the disc openers taking care to get the correct shim placement.

Step #6:

Re-install depth gauge wheels.

AgXcel recommends replacing disc openers when you put fertilizer tubes on.
