This project is a joint initiative between Dubai and the Government of Pakistan to create a new waterfront development – Karachi Waterfront, on a 25,000-ha. (61,776 ac.) site west of the existing city of Karachi, Pakistan. SWA has been selected to develop the open space masterplan. The ‘new city’ will contain a carefully defined and weighted balance of residential, commercial, recreational and entertainment facilities as well open space framework systems.
