On 11/20/2017, Officers completed an investigation into an approximately twelve year old allegation of sexual abuse of a minor. Based on the investigation, Chau Nguyen, age 38, was charged with Sexual Abuse of a Minor in the Second Degree. He was transported to the State Jail and held without bail. On 11/20/2017 at approximately 1231 hours, Officer contacted Thea Curtis, age 36, in the 2400 block of Tongass Avenue. She was served a summons to appear in court, charging her with Failure to Obey Citation. The summons stems from an October 2017 case. On 11/20/2017 at approximately 1809 hours, Officers responded to the 2700 block of Fifth Avenue to a report of a male trying to forcibly enter a residence. Officers contacted Robert Oar, age 40. Based on the investigation, Mr. Oar was charged with Criminal Mischief in the Fourth Degree-Domestic Violence. He was transported to the State Jail and held without bail. On 11/20/2017 on approximately 1945 hours, Officers contacted Johnathan Jackson, age 34, in the 300 block of Front Street. Mr. Jackson was found to have an outstanding warrant. During a pat search Officers located approximately 2 grams of cocaine. Mr. Jackson was charged with Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance in the Fourth Degree. He was transported to the State Jail and held on $5000.00 bail. On 11/21/2017 at approximately 1504 hours, Officers contacted Charles Teal, age 38, in the 400 block of Cedar Street. Mr. Teal was found to have an outstanding warrant for Parole Violation. He was transported to the State Jail and held without bail. On 11/22/2017 at approximately 1533 hours, Officers received a report that Shawn Roberts, age 38, was violating a protective order by sending repeated text messages and attempting to call the petitioner. Officers contacted Mr. Roberts in the 2400 block of Tongass Avenue and he admitted to violating the protective order. He was charged with Violation of a Protection Order. He was transported to the State Jail and held without bail. On 11/22/2017 at approximately 1859 hours, Officers responded to the 1000 block of Water Street to a report of a female trespassing. Officers contacted Nicole Durgan, age 35, who took a fighting stance and lunged at officers. She was verbally warned for disorderly conduct. Ms. Durgan lunged a second time and was charged with Disorderly Conduct-Fighting. She was transported to the State Jail and held without bail.
