On 1/3/2018 at approximately 1600 hours, Officers contacted Michelle Verney, age 26, in the 2000 block of Tongass Avenue. She was served a summons to appear in court, charging her with Theft in the Fourth Degree. The summons stems from a December 2017 case. On 1/3/2018 at approximately 1849 hours, Officers contacted Joshua Amos, age 40, in the 2700 block of Tongass Avenue. Mr. Amos was found to have an outstanding warrant. He was transported to the State Jail and held without bail. On 1/3/2018 at approximately 2120 hours, Officers responded to the 600 block of Park Avenue to a report of a female refusing to leave. Officers contacted Shelly Overlander, age 59, who was asked to leave, but refused. Ms. Overlander was charged with Criminal Trespass. She was transported to the State Jail and released on her own recognizance. On 1/5/2018 at approximately 1740 hours, Officers contacted Dion McCabe, age 21, in the 200 block of Washington Street. Mr. McCabe was found to have two outstanding arrest warrants from Juneau. Mr. McCabe initially tried to flee on foot, but was taken into custody. He was transported to the State Jail and held on $2500.00 bail. On 1/6/2017 at approximately 1906 hours, Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 300 block of Front Street. Officers contacted the driver Donai Deardorff, age 64, who appeared intoxicated and failed field sobriety tests. Ms. Deardorff was charged with Driving Under the Influence. She was transported to the State Jail and held on $500.00 bail. On 1/6/2018 at approximately 2221 hours, Officers contacted Jeffrey Craig, age 53, in the 400 block of Dock Street. Mr. Craig was found to have an outstanding warrant. He was transported to the State Jail and held without bail. On 1/7/2018 at approximately 1447 hours, Officers contacted Anthony Mathews Jr., age 30, in the 600 block of Dock Street. Mr. Mathews was found to have two outstanding warrants. One was an arrest warrant for Assault in the Fourth Degree. He was transported to the State Jail and held without bail.
