On 1/19/2018 at approximately 0937 hours, Officers contacted David Cox, age 29, in the 200 block of Stedman Street. Mr. Cox was found to have an outstanding arrest warrant for Violating Conditions of Release. He was transported to the State Jail and held on $1,000.00 bail. On 1/19/2018 at approximately 1736 hours, Officers responded to the 1800 block of Tongass Avenue to a report of a male causing a disturbance and obstructing traffic. Officers contacted John Henderson, age 23, who appeared very intoxicated. Mr. Henderson was verbally warned several times for Disorderly Conduct, but continued to cause a disturbance. Mr. Henderson was found to have conditions of release which state he is to obey all laws. Mr. Henderson was charged with Disorderly Conduct and Violating Conditions of Release. Mr. Henderson was transported to the State Jail and held on $1,000.00 bail. On 1/19/2018 at approximately 2036 hours, Officers responded to the 100 block of Austin Street to a reported sexual assault. Officers contacted Gabriel Cassin, age 27, leaving the area. Based on the investigation, Mr. Cassin was charged with Sexual Assault in the Second Degree. He was transported to the State Jail and held without bail. On 1/20/2018 at approximately 0123 hours, Officers responded to the 3500 block of Fairview Avenue to a report of an intoxicated driver. Officers contacted the driver Lavonda Mitchell, age 43, who appeared intoxicated and failed field sobriety tests. Ms. Mitchell was charged with Driving Under the Influence. She was transported to the State Jail and released on her own recognizance. On 1/21/2018 at approximately 0151 hours, Officers conducted a traffic stop at Mission and Bawden Street. Officers contacted the driver Samuel Hansen, age 22, who appeared intoxicated and failed field sobriety tests. Mr. Hansen was charged with Driving Under the Influence. He was transported to the State Jail and released on his own recognizance.
