Membership – The key to getting new members for our club is to Just ask! Prospective new members make decisions to join Kiwanis based on what they see and hear about our group. We must remember that recruiting is a continuous process. Each of us needs to become a recruiter. We should be ready to discuss with friends and/or colleagues: 1. How do I join the club? 2. What does it cost? 3. What does the club do? 4. What makes Kiwanis different than other service groups? Personal contact is the most effective method for getting people to join an organization. They join because they like the people in the group. Let’s always be positive and enthusiastic about Kiwanis Early Risers and all that we do in our own community. Can you outline our mission? Can you talk about our activities and events? Can you share the positive impact we have on kids? Can you point out ”what’s in it for them?” The strength of our club really depends on each of us participating in our many projects and promoting what we do! . . . . .Tom
