List Your Products

Welcome to Seller HQ. Here we will be teaching you basic skills to help you get started quickly. If your store has been verified, you should be able to view this page when you log in. Click “sell an item” – it’s the green button on the top right corner of your screen. Next you select the category of product you intend to sell. • Note you are to select all the categories that apply to the product until you get the message – “maximum subcategory selected”. • As a seller you should ensure your products go into the right category so it is visible to buyers that view products by category. • If you are not sure about the right category path to list your products in you can send a mail to [email protected] and you will be directed on how to list your products into the right category path.

List Your Products

• • • • • The image of a product helps in selling the product, so every seller must have good and quality images for their product. Below are some steps to guide you as a seller find those quality images you need to sell your products: 1. Type in the name of the product that you are selling in google search box and click search. 2. Click on images to see the various image representations of your search criteria. 3. Click on the image that best suits what it is you are selling. 4. Click on search tools > Size>Medium or Large 5. Click on view image to get a wider view. 6. Then right click on the wide view and select “view this image on google” 7. Save Image.



We require all product images to be preferably on pure white background without text or watermarks. Your images should be well-lit and show the entire product where the product takes up at least 80% of the image area. Note that you must include at least one image for the product you are about to list. You can add as many as 5 images for a single product. Image resolution should be 500by 500 pixels and the size should preferably be between 100kb to 2mb. When you click the upload button, a pop-up screen comes up that requires you to resize the image. All you need to do is drag the edges of the crop box to capture every part of the product

List Your Products

• Input size, quantity, price and other product details as it applies to the product. • You can list the different sizes of the product. Where the product has different colors, please list separately. • Where you are offering a discount on a product, input the discount price in the discount price field. E.g. price is 2000 discount price 1500. • If you sell gadgets, always set a return policy – it increases customer trust. • Click save when you are done and begin new uploads if you wish.

Good Product Title -Titles have a powerful effect on how your items will show up in search results. • Be sure to include keywords buyers might look out for such as color, type or model number. Examples: “Nancy Laser Cut Block Heels – Brown” or “Zero – 16GB – X506- Black”. • Ensure that the brand name is included in the brand attribute upon product creation. • Put in the correct weight in Kg of the product. This plays a major role in shipping charges that customers see. • A detailed product title grabs attention and the description helps close the sale. As a seller you need words and phrases that will keep the seller reading until the end, your description should not be lengthy so it does not bore the buyer.

Selecting Subscription Plans

• On the bottom left corner of your screen, click on the icon that shows your profile picture and store name. • Navigate to settings and click • Click on subscription • At the right corner click the update plan button • Select a plan – Silver or Gold • You can pay using Konga-pay or debit card.

Restricted Brands on Konga.com Please note that the IWC Unisex HJ-185 Ingenieur Edition Plastiki listed in your store is a high end brand and as such needs to be verified before you can sell them on Konga.com. Also note that certain brands are restricted from being sold on Konga.com. By permitting the sale of these brands, we will be violating Trademark Infringement, Copyright Infringement and Affiliation/ Endorsement/ Trade Diversion. Some of these brands include: • Tiens • Longrich • Oriflame • GNLD • Smart Collection • CNI • Xiaomi

You can do this in 3 simple steps: 1. Enter your bank details 2. Enter your personal details 3. Confirm your details

Request for Payout

After making a sale from an order and after the expiration of the 7days return policy the amount made from the sale is moved into “Escrow” which is therefore released to merchants after a “Request Payout” has been made. 1. In using the Wallet system, payments are made 3-5 working days. 2. In using Konga pay, payout is made seamlessly without request.

Setting Preferred Pickup Location (PPL) Setting of Preferred Pickup Location for Returns are as follows: 1. Select store name down below. 2. Click on “Settings” option next. 3. Click on “Delivery” to locate the Returns Settings. 4. Select a “ Return Location”. NOTE: The selected return location is flexible and can be changed whenever location is no longer accessible by Merchant. Returns are inevitable. You should prepare for at least 40%.

Fulfilling your orders To manage your orders, click on “orders” on the left pane on your screen. Click the “new” tab to view all new orders and then click on ship if you are self-fulfilling and print your order summary/invoice. If you are shipping through KOS, print out the order summary and take the product and invoice to the nearest KOS location to you. All these should be done within 48hrs. You can see the order information when you click on the order nos.

On the top left click "INBOUND" tab and click "Schedule Dropoff"

Once you click on create batch the batch number is created and awaits approval after that you will be notified either by email or SMS to drop off item at our Ogba warehouse, 3b Cocoa road Ogba.

Seller Code of Conduct We expect our sellers to ship their orders within 48hrs of notification. Customer satisfaction is key in the e-commerce business. You can use the nearest KOS location to you or ship through other logistics services of your choice.

Where you try to reach a customer and you cant, still ship! Manage your inventory – where you know you physically do not have an item listed on site anymore, take it down quickly.
