KWKW Volunteer Check List - Set Up 1. Take out and set up KWKW equipment from garage:  Tables (set 2 at concessions + 1 card table for snow cones, 1 at console area, 1 at ribbons, 1 at volunteer check-in)  Black timer chairs – 2 per lane  Tents (1 at console area; the rest at KWKW ready bench area)  Small orange cones to divide parking lot if ready bench is there  Extension cords for snow cones and console table  Red and blue ribbon bins + ribbons  Sponsors banner – hang from fence facing pool along parking lot  White lane ready benches – lane 1 is closest to diving board 2. Signs/Flags/Ready Bench Items, etc. (items are in large KWKW grey bin):  Put out ready bench signs (ensure all are accounted for)  Set out orange judges flags at console table  Set out ready bench lanyards, clipboards, sharpies in their bags on check in table  For evening meets, hang 4 lanterns in ready bench tents and 1 in the console tent  Place dry erase board and markers on concessions tables 3. Pool Chairs and Tables:  Move pool chairs and tables toward fence facing greenbelt  Use layout chairs to make a circle around baby pool to block it off; line up remaining layout chairs along back fence by garage; they need to be out of traffic and swimmer/timer areas 4. Trash:  Ensure all trash cans have a trash bag  Put one rolling trash can in the parking lot if ready bench is there Note: Trash bags are in the supply closet in the women’s restroom 5. Concessions:  Assist with unloading and setup of snow cone machine  Assist with carrying concession food to concessions area  Bring plastic spoons/forks, plates, and snow cone cups from garage

Return KWKW equipment to the garage:  Tables (concessions, computers, ribbons, volunteer check-in)  Black timer chairs  Tents (takedown and place in their packing sleeve)  Orange cones if ready bench was in parking lot; large cones stay outside iron gates  Extension cords  Red and blue ribbon bins + extra ribbons – collapse bins  Sponsors banner hanging from fence – role it up  White lane ready benches  Large KWKW grey bin (after is packed per below) 2. Signs/Flags/Ready Bench Items, etc. (store in the large KWKW grey bin):  Take down ready bench signs (ensure all are accounted for)  Collect orange judges’ flags (should have all 6)  Pack ready bench lanyards, clipboards, sharpies in their bags – ensure all are accounted for; recycle any heat sheets  Take down hanging lanterns (used for evening meets)  Take down dry erase board and markers in concessions area 3. Pool Chairs and Tables:  Return all pool chairs to their place around the tables  Line up the layout chairs along the front and back fences of the pool 4. Trash & Left Items:  Pick up all trash left in the parking lot, pool area, and grassy area  Pick up all left items (towels, goggles, etc.) in the KWKW ready bench area and put them in a pile in the garage  Replace bags in all trash cans that are more than half full; trash should be left outside the black iron gates by the parking lot  Move all rolling trash cans from parking lot to just outside iron fence Note: Trash bags are in the supply closet in the women’s restroom 5. Concessions:  Assist with loading of snow cone machine into cars as needed  Assist with carrying remaining concession food to cars as needed  Bring plastic spoons/forks, plates, and snow cone cups to garage
